В статье рассматривается роль мотивации в современном студенческом обществе при изучении иностранного языка. Подробно раскрыто понятие «мотивация» в теоретическом аспекте, вследствие этого выделены два основных вида мотивации: внешняя и внутренняя. В процессе исследования авторами был проведен опрос среди студентов финансово-экономического факультета на предмет выявления наиболее актуальных мотивов, стимулирующих успешное овладение иностранным языком в процессе обучения в экономическом вузе. По результатам исследования сделаны выводы о необходимости мотивации в сфере образования в целом и обозначены мотивы, как внешние, так и внутренние, стимулирующие студентов к изучению иностранного языка как составляющей части в становлении современного выпускника экономического вуза. В направлении каждого вида мотивации предложены различные методики обучения, благодаря которым у студентов вырабатывается устойчивая позитивная мотивация изучения иностранного языка, обычаев и традиций другого народа.

The article deals with the role of motivation in modern society in the field of learning foreign language. The concept of «motivation» in theoretical aspect is described in details, therefore two main types: of motivation (external and internal) are highlighted. The authors give the results of the survey which conducted among the students of financial and economic faculty to identify the most pressing motives of external and internal forms in the process of foreign language education. According to the survey some conclusions about motivation in the field of education in general are drawn and motives are pointed both external and internal to encourage students to study a foreign language because it is a essential part in the formation of modern economic high school graduate. In the direction of each kind of motivation were proposed various methods of teaching through which students will be able to develop resistance positive motivation to learning a foreign language, customs and traditions of other nations.
